One of our most exciting projects to date has been working with The Langham, London to produce new images for their restaurants and bars. This imagery has been used extensively by the hotel including on their websites, social media and within the hotel. To be part of a brand new project though is particularly exciting! We started photographing food and drink while the new ‘tavern’ The Wigmore was still under construction. The food and drink has been a long time in the planning by the team behind The Roux at The Landau – including Michel Roux Jnr – and the infamous Artisan bar. We loved meeting all the team, photographing all the staff portraits in and out the kitchens – including meeting the charming Michel Roux himself. We are extremely proud to see our images exclusively on their brand new website! Here’s just a preview of the images – keep an eye on Wigmore’s social media for new releases!
The new pub itself is the epitome of what a British pub should be! The Wigmore’s very own house beer, brewed in partnership with Brew By Numbers, Steak and Ale pie, (very hairy looking) Scotch eggs, Bloody Mary’s and a huge range of gin & tonics. The interior harks back to the traditional feel of taverns of the past but with the oh so important Langham luxurious yet intimate feel – wood and fabric panelling, silk cushions and copper furnishings. We can’t wait to be back! See you at the bar! I’ll have a tankard of the Wigmore Saison and cheese toastie please!
